Voinjama: 16 Year Old Girl Commits Suicide in Lofa County

Voinjama: A 16 year old school girl has allegedly committed suicide in Weezeazu town, Wobomai Chiefdom, Voinjama District in Lofa County.

The remains of little Rachael Jaybeh was discovered last Thursday, September 6,2018  with a piece of cloth tied from a tree to her neck by a man identified as ZumoManjoe.

 

The victim is said to be a 5th grade student of the Lawalazu Public School in Voinjama district.

 

The father of the deceased Kpoto Jaybeh told police and reporters that the tragedy took him by surprise.

 

At the same time, the mother of the deceased has expressed regret about the situation.

 

Police are said to be investigating the issues surrounding the death of Rechel Jaybeh.

 

A 15 man jury set up to examine the actual cause of death has reported of no foul play, saying the girl died by hanging.

 

Meanwhile, the remains of 16 year old Rachael Jaybeh has been turned over to family members for burial.
