ANC’s Alexander Cummings Brands CDC Government Officials as Incompetent

Monrovia: Alternative National Congress Political Leader Alexander Cummings has attributed the current backwardness in the country’s Economy to the appointment of what he calls group of incompetent government officials.

According to him the Weah administration is bundle with too many incompetent people whose presence is having an adverse result on the governance of the state.

He told the OK Conversation Tuesday that government is not doing much to address economy need of the poor people.

“The Government is doing nothing to adequately addressing the growing needs of the economy and this is because most officials of the Government are incompetent. As such, they don’t have the know how to address emergency situations.”

ANC political leader has meanwhile disagreed with Information Minister Description of those criticizing the investment climate of the country.

On Monday the MICAT Boss branded critics questioning the level of investment in the country as “Educated Illiterate”

But Mr. Cummings believed that such description is fake while challenging Minister Nagbe to publicly publish of investors currently in the country.

Meanwhile, Mr. Cummings has ruled out any possibility of contesting the 2020 senatorial election.

Supporters of Mr. Cummings hold the view that serving the Liberian Senate will better prepare him for the presidency.

“With due respect for the Legislature, I can serve in many ways apart from being a legislator. My passions is impact the lives of all Liberians and not just one set of people; so, I don’t have interest in contesting the 202o senatorial election for neither Montserrado or Maryland County,” Cummings said.

Appearing on the OK Conversation Tuesday, the ANC’s Political Leader said he wouldn’t accept any petition to contest the Senate Seat.
