House of Representatives Suspends Rep. Koulbah for Thirty Session Day

Monrovia – Members of the House of Representatives have voted to suspend Montserrado County District 10 Representative, Yekeh Kolubah, for thirty session days without salaries and benefits.

The decision was made during the House’s regular sitting, following a report from its Rules, Order, and Administration Committee.

According to a statement from the House, the suspension was prompted by a complaint filed by Rep. Johnson Williams, who accused his colleague Kolubah of constant insults and disruptive behavior.

The statement said the committee’s report emphasized the need to maintain decorum and respect within the legislative body, leading to the decision to suspend Rep. Kolubah.

This latest decision by the House of Representatives aims to uphold its rules and ensure a respectful working environment for all members.

It also underscores the importance of adhering to the established code of conduct and maintaining professionalism within the legislative process.
