Liberia Taekwondo Federation To Adopt A New Constitution

The Liberia Taekwondo Federation will hold a congress on April 5, 2025, in Montserrado to approve a new constitution.

The gathering will witness Masters of Council, heads of clubs or dojos, leadership of the Liberia Taekwondo Federation, and hosts of other officials, among others.

The Congress was earlier slated for Saturday, March 29, 2025, but due to the Ramadan, the leadership saw reason to push the gathering to April 5 to allow members of the Islamic faith to be done with their celebration.

The Constitution review committee, following the drafting of a new constitution, gave copies to every Dojo to have a say and make recommendations before the Congress for an official approval.

This constitution, once approved, will be the federation’s first since 1994, and it will be in line with the international body’s standard.

The first constitution was done in 1974 following the establishment of the federation.

However, the drifting of the constitution is part of the President, Master Junior Pewee Russian rebranding process of the sport across the country.
