China,Liberia sign more Bilateral Agreements

Monrovia,Liberia-The Government of the People’s Republic of China through its Embassy near Monrovia has agreed to provide more bilateral aids to Liberia.

The agreement is to affect the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex (SKD), the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) and National Clinical Reference Laboratory.

Foreign Affairs Minister Gbehzohngar Findley in a brief comment following the signing of the agreement, thanked the Government of China through their Ambassador, Fu Jijun, for the many assistances it continues to render Liberia.

Responding, Ambassador Jijun stated that his government was glad to sign the agreements with its Liberian counterpart.

According to him, the agreement specifically targeting the SKD is geared toward youth empowerment in the area of sports.

He also spoke of China’s relationships with Africa and how it is growing with the continent in general and particularly with individual nations on the continent.

Ambassador Jijun thanked the Liberian Government through the Foreign Ministry for the bilateral ties of friendship subsisting between both nations.
