Monrovia,Liberia: Former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf says being frank to some presidential candidates that they could not be President during the elections does not mean she is a wicked character.
The former President’s comment is in reaction to perception in the public that she is a wicked individual because she did not support her Vice President for the presidency.
Speaking in an interview with former Information Minister Lawrence Bropleh, Madam Sirleaf indicated that she is not moved by such negative propaganda against her.
Madam Sirleaf claimed that she is a frank individual who does not believe in giving handouts to people but would rather encourage and support them to work hard for themselves.
Meanwhile, the immediate past President then vowed to support the Weah administration to success.
According to her, undermining the new government will not auger well for the gains made during her administration.
