MONROVIA:Lawmakers in Solidarity with Representative Yekeh Kolubah have called on the president, Senate Pro- tempore and House Speaker to consider attacks on their colleague as a treat of national security.
Addressing a team of legislative reporters on behalf of his colleagues, Representative Francis Dopoh said no amount of justification to these acts can be embraced but must be condemned.
Representative Dopoh wants the Senate’s collaboration in ensuring that the security of lawmakers and their families are protected in the discharge of their duties.
According to him, ECOWAS, African Union, the United Nations and Liberia’s traditional partners, the United States attention must be claimed.
He condemned on behalf of his colleagues in the strongest tone the double attacks against their fellow Montserrado County Lawmaker Yekeh Kolubah.
During the weekend, Montserrado District “10” Lawmaker organized a children year-end party, but was disrupted following commotion between Representative Kolubah’s supporters and people believed to be loyal to President George Weah.
