The Nimba citizens, who expressed disappointment in the delay for Justice against perpetrators of Liberia’s Civil war, want those who committed atrocities to face the full weight of the law.
The Nimba Citizens said the prosecution can only be achieved through the establishment of war and economic crimes court.
At a recent Council sitting in Nimba County, Senator Prince Johnson registered his opposition to the establishment of war crime court in Liberia.
Senator Johnson said any Government going after faction leaders would be bridging the 2003 Accra Peace Agreement, while describing the intent of those supporting the call as unscrupulous politicians who are desirous of bringing back chaos into the Country.
