Pres. Weah appoints news Central Bank Governor

Monrovia,Liberia: President George Weah has nominated Nathaniel Patray as Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia.

 

The nomination of Patray follows the resignation of Governor Milton Weeks from the Central Bank of Liberia.

According to an Executive Mansion Release, the president has also made appointments at the National Security Agency( NSA).

Those appointed are Agency Edward Sharpe Deputy Director for Planning Research & Analysis, Emmanuel Jackson Assistant Director for Planning Research & Analysis and Todd Garlo as Assistant Director for Administration.

These appointments and nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.

Meanwhile, President George Weah has with immediate effect, terminated the mandate of the special Presidential Task Force constituted to retrieve Government-owned vehicles from former officials of Government.

According to the release, the Liberian Leader commended the committee for the job well done in executing the mandate given them; and requested that all current officials of Government, as well as former officials of Government, refer all vehicle-related issues, and/or concerns to the General Services Agency for redress.
