World Bank Provides 5m to LISGIS for Operational Purposes

Monrovia,Liberia: The World Bank has provided the Liberia Institute for Statistics and Geo Information Services 5 Million United States Dollars in an effort to strengthen the institution’s capacity.

The World Bank Operation Officer Esther Rojas Garcia said the 5 million USD given LISGIS will also aid the institution get prepare for the 2019 National Population Census.

Madam Garcia indicated that the World Bank was pleased with the LISGIS recent 2016 Household Income and Expenditure Survey report.

According to her, the report released recently was funded by the World Bank along with other developmental partners.
