Liberia Invites 13 Foreign based Players for DR Congo Clash

Monrovia-The Head Coach of the National Soccer team, Thomas Kojohas invited 13 foreign based players for the Liberia versus Democratic Republic of Congo in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The 13 players will feature in the match against Congo DR areBoisonWynneyDeSouza  ofRCD Mallorca II,Joel Johnson AlajarinofCharlotte Independence , TeahDennis playing in Oman and Adolphus Marshall of Gudja United FC.

England based player Mohammed Sangare who plays for Newcastle United has gotten his first national team call-up. Murphy Oscar Dorey of Slovan Liberec, Sylvanus Nimely of Spartak Moscow II and Sam Johnson who is playing his club football in Norway for Valerenga is also called up for the crunch nations cup qualifier.

Anthony Laffor of South Africa’s MamelodiSundowns, William Jebor of Wydad Athletic Casablanca,TerrenceTisdell of San Joanense of Portugual, SekuConneh of South Korea’s Ansan Greener and inform Liberian player Kpah Sherman who plays for MIFA in Malaysia  completes the list of invited stars.

Liberia will play DR Congo on September 9, 2018 while few days after Liberia will welcome Nigeria in an international friendly at the SKD SportsComplex on September 11, 2018.
