England based player Mohammed Sangare who plays for Newcastle United has gotten his first national team call-up. Murphy Oscar Dorey of Slovan Liberec, Sylvanus Nimely of Spartak Moscow II and Sam Johnson who is playing his club football in Norway for Valerenga is also called up for the crunch nations cup qualifier.

Liberia will play DR Congo on September 9, 2018 while few days after Liberia will welcome Nigeria in an international friendly at the SKD SportsComplex on September 11, 2018.
