Monrovia-Nimba, Bong, Champions Montserrado, and Margibi Counties are all through to the semi finals of the 2017/2018 National County Sports in the football version played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe, Sports Complex in Paynesville City.
The above mentioned counties defeated Grand Cape 1-0, Bomi 5-0, Rivergee 5-0, and Sinoe 1-0 to comfrim their places in the semi finals.
After Bong county 5-0 win over Bomi county in the second quarter final match on Saturday, the head coach of Bong County Cooper Saner applauded his players for their displace against their contact-part.
In the kickball version of the competition, Cape Mount County defeated Lofa 2-0 home runs in the 1st quarter final and Nimba also whipped Bomi 3-0 home runs in the 2nd quarter final to book their places in the semi finals on Saturday.
On Sunday, Grand Bassa and Margibi Counties also comfirm their places in the semi finals after wins over Maryland and Margibi Counties in the kick ball category, at the same Venue.
Meannwhile, the next stage of the competition is expected to commence from Saturday, April 21 to 22, 2018 at the Samuel Kayon Doe sports complex in Paynes ville City.
