He said those making mockery of the President for opening a church will be cursed by God, stressing that the Liberian leader would have been praised if he were to open a Zoë bush for some ungodly people in the country.
The Montserrado lawmaker spoke on the Weekend when he was honored by the “Strategic Journalists Committee” for his outstanding oversight and representation role played in 2018.
According to him, no matter President Weah affiliation with other secret cults or organizations like the Mason, he will still serve Christ Jesus.
“We will make George Weah Pastor or priest before he dies? what we are doing here as a CDC led Government is Kingdom’s business. If George Weah had built a Poro or Zoe Bush here for Iman Krayee and others to be going and making medicine there, people will be clapping. But, because he has built a temple of God, they are disappointed. They are wasting their time. Even if they carry George Weah anywhere, he will still bow down to Jesus and nobody else, ” representative George said.
Commenting further, Representative George expressed frustration in the first sitting of the 54th National Legislature particularly the House of Representatives.
According to him, there are members within the lower House who lack the understanding of legislative proceeding, adding that their actions have impeded the workings of the legislature in the last year.
Failing to name a particular lawmaker, Representative George asserted that there are some lawmakers who entered the legislature with the mind set of making money at the expense of the ordinary people.
“I am very disappointed in the fist sitting of the 54th national legislature. This is because, people who do not understand the workings of the legislature made a mistake, am talking about we the representatives. There are some of us who do not know our calling within the House of representatives.
I am appealing to the 73 of us representatives that we must get into intermarriages to ensure that we work for eh people, thereby the Government. But, if we come back with the same attitude thinking that every chair we sit in has a million dollar under it, than we will be wasting out time; because, many of our colleagues use this position to enrich themselves by even stealing from their own office staff.”
The Montserrado District 7 lawmaker is at the same time calling on his colleagues to desist from acts that have the propensity to undermine the image of legislature.
