Representative Larry Yanquoi Promises Undisclosed Action against Sen. Prince Johnson if he fails to withdraw statement of allegation

Nimba County Representative Larry Yanquoi has given Senator Prince Johnson two weeks ultimatum to withdraw statement of allegation against him, or risk an undisclosed action.

Senator Prince Johnson recently accused Representatives Larry Yanquoi and Samuel Kogar of recruiting former rebels from Nimba County to Monrovia to cause chaos during the just ended June 7 protest.

But appearing on the OK FM Morning Rush Friday, June 15, 2019, Representative Yanquoi described the allegation as not only baseless and misleading, but also intended to tarnish his reputation.

Representative Yanquoi said, he has no record of engaging in war and if anyone will bring former rebels to Monrovia to undermine the peace it should be Senator Johnson because the Nimba County Senator is a former Warlord.

Representative Yanquoi told OK FM, Senator Johnson has always accused him falsely but the latest accusation will seriously be resisted.

“Senator Johnsons has some things under his sleeves, but he wants to use other people.
The very senator Johnson told me, prior to the convention in Ganta when honorable Alexander Cummings said he wanted to visit my people, and he decided to reach to my native born town to speak to my elders; Senator Prince Johnson sat down here and said we had secret meetings, even though that meeting with the elders was held in the full glare of the Press.

And the NSA has never invited him to clarify some of the things he says that are threat to the state, But, I am giving Senator Prince Johnson two weeks ultimatum to withdraw statement of allegation against me, or risk an undisclosed action.”

Representative Yanquoi further challenged Senator Johnson to produce evidence to his claims, while requesting the National Legislature and the National Security Agency to invite Senator Johnson for proper investigation because his latest allegation borders on the security of the state.

Commenting on the reduction in salaries of lawmakers at the house which is being proffered by Montserrado County district#8 lawmaker Acarous Gray, Representative Yanquoi said  while he support the passage of such significant instrument it should be look at critically.

“We have money in the budget for operation. It is too much because we are not seeing what they are doing with it.

The independent legislative caucus is saying let’s drop it drastically because we cannot see the anticipated result for said money.”
