MONROVIA: Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson says the establishment of war crime court is a recipe of crisis in Liberia.
Senator Johnson said any attempt to have him arrested would be met with serious resistance from his supporters.
He spoke during a recent press conference in Gonpa city.
Senator Prince Johnson named Representative Larry Younquoi, Representative Samuel Korga and Cllr.Tiawon Gongloe are those Nimbaians in support of war crimes court in the country.
“If you were to come arrest me I will fight you. You know why? The same crime you want to arrest me for, which was alleged against me, is the same crime Taylor committed and you compensated him with the presidency.
Then, after Taylor, your compensated Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for twelve years; now I am a senator looking for Job to be your leader and you talking about war crimes court, come catch me!
In fact, you won’t even catch me. Because the resistance you find from young guys will be maximum uncontrollable, Senator Johnson ended.”
The Nimba County senator has allegedly been on record of planning to put his men in the bush with single barrel guns if the campaign for War Crimes Court continues to intensify.
Meanwhile Senator Prince Johnson has ordered the Liberia National Police as well as his supporters in Ganta to arrest a man identified as Emmanuel Wongen who accused the senator of training rebel in the county.
Speaking on a local media in Ganta City recently, Emmanuel Wongen accused Senator Prince Johnson of training men in the County to stop any attempt to arrest him to face the war crime court.
