Commerce Inspector General Cautions Business Operators Against Harmful Practices

Monrovia-The Inspector General of the Ministry of Commerce, Josephine Davis has warned business operators in Liberia to exhibit fairness at all times.

Madam Davis told OK FM news over the weekend following the station’s Health Walk at the SKD that while it is true they must accumulate profit; the consumers’ lives should not be at risked.

She boosted of achieving in the last four months at least sixty percent cooperation from business operators, a mandate to protect the lives of consumers.

According to her, the Ministry will not relent until it reaches one hundred percent in weeding out harmful practices from the business community.

The Commerce Inspector General added that giving the health status in the country consumable products on the market should be monitored thoroughly.

Following her appointment as Commerce Inspector General, Josephine Davies has been forceful in the arrested and prosecution of Business individuals and institutions involved with selling aspired goods on the Liberian Market.

Her vigorous actions against Business people caught violation the commerce Mandate have met huge praises in the Public over the past Months.
