In conversation with OK FM’s “Conversation” Tuesday, September 4,2018,  Minister Sirleaf attributed hardship facing the people in the southeast to the deplorable state of the road.

” Let say that what ever President Weah will decide to do for people in the Southeast is to build those roads. Because, it is so discouraging to see more than hundred and twenty-five trucks being stocked along the roads connecting Grand Gedeh to Nimba, Grand Kru to Sinoe and Maryland Counties.

That stretch of road from Buchanan to Cestos, Greenville, Pleebo are all damaged and need real work”

According to him,  plan by the President to pave county capitals is essential to economic growth, stressing that the road is pivotal to the development of any nation.

Meanwhile, the Internal Affairs Boss has spoken of the disappearance of a District Commissioner and Classroom teacher in Grand Gedeh and Maryland Counties respectively.

While expressing frustration over the mysterious disappearance of the two men, Minister Sirleaf said such news does not paint a positive picture for the traditional community in the country.
