The group wants Mr. Alex Cuffy, recused, citing conflict of interest as the basis.

Martin Kollie, head of the group said Mr. Cuffy is a brother to Cecelia Cuffy, the former Acting Managing Director of the National Port Authority under whose administration the newly printed bank notes were reportedly brought into the country.

Alex Cuffy is the current head of the Financial Intelligent Unit and Coordinator of the Special Presidential Investigative Team probing the alleged disappearance of the 16 billion Liberian dollars.

“Alex Coffey who is currently heading the special presidential investigative team surrounding this missing money is a blood brother to Madam Cecelia Coffey, the former acting managing director of the National Port Authority, under whose regime, the printed bank notes arrived into the Country. Is this the same Alex Coffey that is about to investigate his sister? you think Liberians are jokers? we will not accept any report from Alex Coffey investigative panel,” Said Martin Kollie.

Mr. Kollie in a live facebook field over the weekend asserted that the likes of Alex Cuffy and others lack the requisite independence to expose the facts, because of their personal association with those who are being linked.

while stating that COCCUBOMB will not accept the report coming from the Special Investigative Team,  the concerned citizrns united to brink back of money are calling on the international community to take charge of the entire process.
