President Weah made further nominations in Government

Monrovia-President George Weah has made additional nominations and appointments constituting the Boards of several Agencies of Government affecting the John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Liberia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, National Port Authority, Liberia Electricity Corporation, and the Central Bank of Liberia.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the President also made additional appointments at the Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation and the Township of Clara Town.

At the Liberia water & Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Dunnah Kamara has been nominated as Managing Director, while Dan Saryee was named Deputy for Operations.

The Liberian leader has also reconstituted the board of the Liberia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (LEITI).

Members of the committee include the Minister of Finance,                            Minister of Lands, Mines and Energy, Managing Director of the Forestry Development Authority, and the Minister of Agriculture as                                   statutory Members.

Reverend Joseph Gardea Johnson has all been named as a board member of LAITI.

President Weah also nominated Beatrice Dolee Williams, Commissioner for Clara Town.

Meanwhile, the appointments and nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
