MONROVIA: Representative Yekeh Kolubah has accused President George Weah and CDC’s Chairman Mulbah Morlu of instigating violence that disrupted a party meant for children of his district.

During the weekend, the Montserrado District “10” Lawmaker organized a children year-end party, but was disrupted following commotion between Representative Kolubah’s supporters and people believed to be loyal to President George Weah.
Reports say speculations by the president’s loyalists that some of those attending the program lost their lives to heat, created tension, as parents uncontrollably trooped in to the Ford Maiden Christian Academy School campus on the Oldroad were the program was held to get their kids out.
The tension escalated when a man only identified as Mohammed’s ear was partly sliced by Representative Kolubah’s personal body guard during a tussle.
Those loyal to Mohammed went on the rampage, setting up road blocks and burning tires on the Chugbor road, demanding retributive just, but the situation was brought under control trough the intervention of riot police officers.
Speaking to journalists at his residence following the restoration of calm, Representative Kolubah said the group that caused electoral violence in Montserrado’s District # 13 are the same people that disrupted the program.
“While the program was ongoing, we saw CDC partisans KO, ZUMA, and Domado, the same groupe that went to disrupt distrct #13 in the 2018 representative By-election. They were sent her by President George Weah and Mulbah Morlu to disrupt my program. I have got prove to what am saying, and if they take me to court, I will prove it in Court.”
The Montserrado district #10 lawmaker meanwhile complained of being attacked by unknown gun men during the night hours of early Monday Morning, January 21,2019.
Representative Kolubah, who spoke of the availablity of gun-shells alleged the unknown gu men had gone at his House during the night to kill him on the order of CDC’s Chairman Mulbah Morlu and President Weah.
” Early this morning between 2:45 to 3am, unknown gun men attached my House and fire at my compound with an attempt to kill me. I still have some of the empty Gun shells and bullet marks on the Walls of my fence.
I believed that the unknown men were sent by President Weah to kill me, but, the President will have me to contempt with.”
The Liberian Government is yet to respond to this latest allegation made Reoresentative Kolubah.
