Monrovia-The Clar Hope Foundation, an institution owned and operated by the First Lady Clar Weah, has being launched in Monrovia.
The launch of the Clar Hope Foundation focuses on four strategic goals which include Good Health and Well Being, Quality Education, Gender Equality and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
The launch of the program also witnessed the attendance of an array of top government officials including members of the diplomatic corps as well as local and international organizations.
Speaking at the launching Program in Monrovia Monday, First lady Clar Weah said the establishment of her foundation in Liberia is to cater to less fortunate people including women and children in the country.
Madam Weah noted that her initiative will also seek to rehabilitate about two hundred primary schools including fifty-eight licensed orphanages in Liberia.
She further stressed the need for partnerships will both local and international organizations geared towards achieving her goals as part of the vision of the organization.
Also making brief remark, Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor commended the First lady for a setting up of a foundation to cater to less fortunate people in Liberia.
Vice President Taylor expressed optimism that the Clar Hope Foundation will do great things in the lives of Liberians.
