VP Howard-Taylor wants Women involvement in Agro-Business

Monrovia-Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has encouraged Liberian women to explore their careers into the Agro sector.

VP Taylor said career development should not only focus on the formal sector but the informal also.

According to her, exploring a career in the agro sector makes an individual self reliant and employer for others.

The Liberian Vice President reaffirmed her commitment to endeavors that tend to impact Liberia especially women.

She made the remarks during the  weekend upon touring the Design IT and Training Institute- DITTI situated in Congo.

DITTI is a foundation for knowledge, Transfer, Management and Social Entrepreneurship.

Speaking earlier, the Founder of QUINTESSENTIAL Business Association, Andrea Kamara- Dunbar urged the public to consume their products on the Liberian market.

Andrea added that the localized products are refined and meet international standards for body growth.

At the same time, the Chief Executive Officer of DITTI Fatu Gbedema has confirmed enrollment of Liberian youths into the program for skills development.

Madam Gbedema said the institute stands ready to empower young people to contribute to Liberia’s growth and development.
