26 years old Marcus Wriyee suffers Cervical Spinal Cord injury, appeals for medical treatment

MONROVIA: A 26 year old man seriously affected from a motor accident is craving the timely intervention of President George Weah and Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor and other humanitarians as he is currently bedridden.

Speaking to this station Thursday, the brother of the victim Otis Pawoh said his brother Marcus Wriyee got involved in accident while traveling with one of Liberia’s soccer star Tonia Tassel on October 14, 2018 seated at the front seat.

According to medical reports in the possession of OK FM 99.5, Marcus Wriyee was transferred from the John F. Kennedy Medical Center to KORLE-BU TEACHING hospital on October 15, 2018 after been diagnosed of Severe Cervical Spinal Cord Injury as a result of accident.

He explained that his brother has undergone surgery to correct the dislocation and fusion of ruptured spinal disc to correct the damage.

Otis furthered that Marcus Wriyee is currently unable to walk or support himself resulting to him using a wheel chair currently surviving through relief from family members.

However, Marcus Wriyee’s medical report states his cervical spinal injury has resulted to his inability to both lower and upper limbs.
