The Senior Pastor of the Royal Apostolic Church in Nimba County has been arrested and sent to court for allegedly raping a 14 year old girl.
37 year old pastor Lowise Lulu Donzo, who presented himself to the police as Lowise Falapay Fanandex was arrested Monday at the Ganta-Guinean border while en route to Guinea with the 14year old girl.
According to reports, Pastor Lowise Donzo is said to have acquired his pastoral training in Nigeria, and spent two years in Ganta City before the incident.
The police report quotes Pastor Donzo as earlier saying he was taking the 14 year old girl to his spiritual mother for prayer to Guinea.
Following thorough investigation by the Women and Children Protection Section of the Liberian National police in Ganta, the Royal Apostolic Church Pastor later said he and the 14 year old girl have been living together as husband and wife for the past two years.
He has been sent to the Sanniquellie Central Prison awaiting court trial.
