Counselor Cephus furthered that “Roots FM was in violation of section 15 of the Telecommunication Act of 2007 and Chapter 11, section 11.2(d) of the criminal procedure law.”

He said the indictment will be circulated across the world to have Mr. Costa faced the Liberian law for his alleged action against the state.

Meanwhile Henry Costa has disclosed that he will resist government’s action in keeping with the law and will organize more protests until President George Weah returns Roots FM’s broadcast equipment to the facility.

Henry Costa revealed said the action against his radio station Came as a result of the December 30th Weah step down campaign and advocacy named operation safe Justina Taylor.

He maintained that Liberia as country has and continue to struggle with a spirit of dictatorship which is alleged exhibited by Liberia footballer turn politician George Weah and his supporters.

Since the closure of Roots FM, many Liberians have expressed mixed-reactions while some members of the opposition community have threatened protest actions in demand for the Government to restore the equipment of Roots FM back to the facility.
