Liberian Striker, Patrick Wleh, Risks Ban from All Football Activities

By Sylvester Tamba

Monrovia – Liberian international soccer star Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh could be ban from football activities in Liberia over a leaked sex tape.

Patrick received tons of condemnation after the video was circulated on Facebook on May 4.

The Liberia Football Association vice president for administration, Musa Shannon, has condemned Wleh’s action. He described the athlete’s action as regrettable.

According Shannon, the LFA would address the matter appropriately as it sends out negative message about Liberia.

Shannon said LFA is carrying out an investigation over how the tape was leaked to Facebook. If he’s found guilty, he risks being ban for by the LFA.

“This is so embarrassing to football but he is an adult but kids look at him as role model and seeing such video is not good for our country,” Shannon said.

Outgoing FPA president, Musa Bility expressed disappointment over Wleh’s action.

FrontPageAfrica gathered that Bility has been consulting stakeholders in Liberian football and the majority has recommended his ban from all football activities in Liberia.
