National County Sports Meet kicks off in Liberia

Monrovia,Liberia:Maryland and Nimba kickball teams have book their places in the quarter finals of the 2018 edition of the National County Sports Meet.

Both Counties defeated Grand Kru and Lofa respectively to move to the quarter finals.

In other kickball matches, host Sinoe has kept her quarter finals hope alive in group-D, after an entertaining 5-4 win against River Gee.

Champions Montserrado whipped Rivercess 9-0 home runs to return to winning ways after a huge defeat to Margibi on the opening day.

Grand Bassa VS Margibi, Bomi and Grand Cape Mount County matches continues tomorrow in Buchana and Robertsports to determine the winners.

Both matches could not find winners after a regular innings of play between them.

In the football category, Rivercess and Lofa have bid farewell to this edition of the competition.

Lofa lost to Nimba 3-0 while Rivercess went down to Montserrado 2-1 to end their hope for the quarter finals place.

Lofa and Rivercess both lost to Bong and Bassa on the opening day of the Competition.

In other matches, Maryland and Grand Kru settle to a one all draw in group-D while host Grand Cape Mount went down to Neighbor Bomi 2-0.
