Pres. Weah names road construction as first priority

Monrovia-President George Weah has embarked on a tour to inspect all roads leading to the hinterlands of Liberia.

Speaking upon his arrival in Bong County Sunday, President Weah his vision is to connect Liberia 15 counties by well paved roads.

The Liberian leader said the roads hen completed across Liberia will boost the Country’s economy through Agriculture, Health and Education.

President Weah furthered pledged not to work with construction companies that will delay operations for three to five months, nothing that delays could cause harm to his vision of transforming the Country for the good of the Citizens.

The President statement was prompted by dissatisfaction and continuous argument amongst citizens that the Government of Coalition for Democratic Change lacks the ability to prioritize major development.

Meanwhile, President Weah urged politicians who did not succeed during the 2017 elections to form part of development strategies to better improve the living condition of Citizens.

According to him, the CDC Government intends to continue implementation of projects initiated by the recent administration of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
