Massa Kennedy said on April 15, 2018, the day Journalist Brown was allegedly murdered, she had gone on the Oldroad for a regular monthly meeting when she received a call from co-defendant, Joanna Bracewell to hang out.

After hanging out that evening, she went to bed at night, but later asked to wake up by co-defendant Joanna, informing her about the noise in the yard and that armed robbers were in the yard, at her Duport road residence.

According to Massa, she got up and heard no noise, but saw Jonathan Williams and his nieces at the back of the House.

According to her, she saw Williams with his shirt torn apart.

She decided to make inquiry by asking defendant Williams what had happened.

Massa said she was told by defendant Jonathan that he got attacked.

Subsequently, Massa said he asked one of his nieces whether Tyron Brown was dead, but the niece replied that he was hurt.

According to Massa, she instructed them to take Tyron to the hospital, but Defendant Williams instructed her to mind her business.

The death of the Liberian Journalist sparked public outcry with many calling for speedy  and fare trial of the case.
