Montserrado County District # 10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah has vowed to introduce a bill at the House of Representatives for the impeachment of President George Weah.
Representative Kolubah speaking to reporters at his district headquarters said although his communication was denied by Speaker Bhofal Chambers, he will do everything to ensure it is placed on the House’s floor upon that body’s return from its Easter break.
According to him, the Liberian Leader has violated the laws of the country and should be impeached as in the case of Former Associate Justice Kabineh Ja’neh.
I have an impeachment bill that has been crafted since last year.
I said something; I am the only person that can interpret what I say. I said in three months, this president can’t run the country anymore, he will be leaving. Constitutionally he will be leaving.
Because in two months time, this impeachment bill will be on the floor of plenary and the president will be impeached for violating the constitution of Liberia.
Honorable Acarus Gray said Kabineh Ja’neh will be former Associate Justice, not so? And today he is former because he was impeached.
I went to Justice Ministry for peace and not to create war or anything that will create chaos in this Country.
But I remain supportive to the June 7 protest if only it will be peaceful.
Meanwhile the District#10 Lawmaker has also promised to refrain from making comments that could undermine the peace of the country.
Representative Kolubah however vowed to remain critical on the CDC led government headed by Football Legend George Weah.
His latest comment followed a meeting with the Ministry of Justice on Monday, April 22,2019
