Traditional Council Chief Zanzan Kawor Welcomes Peace Talk Between Pres. Weah and Rep. Kolubah

The National Traditional Council of Liberia has described the peace talk held between President Weah and Representative Yekeh Kolubah as wonderful news for the sustainability of the decade long peace process in the country.

Representative Yekeh Kolubah a critic of the Weah-Taylor administration in recent weeks declared that the president was unfit to lead and was going to turn over the Liberian presidency in three months, a statement that prompted the Ministry of Justice to invite him for questioning.

Addressing news men in Monrovia Tuesday, April 23,2019, the head of the Traditional Council of Liberia Chief Zanzan Kawor noted that the submission of Representative Kolubah at the Ministry of Justice coupled with his meeting with the President is laudable.

Chief Kawor added that the President’s invitation to Representative Kolubah to smoke piece pipe is essential to the peace and the survival of the country.

Jusice minister, the thing he told us it happened. Yekeh Kolubah went there and they talk without arresting Yekeh.

But we tell God thank you first because we are tired with trouble. Some of the people can’t go there when their friend in trouble.

But for Yekeh friend them to leave their busy schedule and follow him to Justice ministry, God will bless them too.

The president, you are the dumpsite; all the bad bad things have to waste on you.

The Council of Elders telling the Liberian people to relaxed, as it is also planning a meeting with the CDC administration to settle one and for all.

The head of the council of chiefs and elders further frowned on former rebel generals who were engaged in calling on Representative Kolubah to report to them in seventy two hours.

According to him, such action has the propensity to undermine the investment and scare away potential investors from Liberia.

He further lauded Kolubah for mustering the bold step in reconciling with the President over recent war of words.
