Two residents of the Kingsville #7, Community in lower Montserrado County have been sent to Jail on allegation of killing two Children.
Defendants Mulbah Yanbakulo, 64, and Samuel Sayou were arrested on June 8 2019, after bodies of 10 years old Thomas Kollie and Elijah Porlumah were discovered on a Farm in over Comer community, in Kingsville, belonging to the accused.
According to Police investigation, the children went missing on May 30 and May 31st 2019, after their guardians sent them to sell.
The Police were notified on June 2, and on the 3rd of June, the Forensic team proceeded to the Kingsville Community.
Upon the team arrival of the Police Support Unit (PSU), the Community, alongside the Kingsville Police detachment, immediately proceeded to the Crime Scene.
A cording to Investigators the first body was discovered in supine position under a reed bush about 75 meters away from a pig racing Hut with Gardens owned by defendants Yanbakulo and Sayou.
The second body was also discovered in the same supine position. Police said the two bodies were discovered with their hands and legs stretched apart, and in the advanced stage of decomposition.
The Police furthered that a fifteen member Coroner jury was set up by the Homocide division of the LNP, who confirmed there was a foul played in the Children’s death.
The mysterious death of the two children resulted to a mass citizens protest over delay by police to provide findings from the investigation.
During recent protest by the Kingsville resident, it was also reported that riot police officers fire live bullets at peaceful protesters, which resulted to one death and others injured.
Meanwhile, police authorities say their concluding investigation into the recent alleged shooting by police officers.
There has been many criticism from the public against the alleged action by the riot police officers who confronted the Kingsville protesters.
