Monrovia-A 28 year old man identified as Patrick King has reportedly killed a 21 year old gold miner in River Cess County, Republic of Liberia.
A local journalist in the county said the incident occurred during the Wednesday in Effort Gold camp, Yarnee District, when confusion broke out between Patrick King and the late Abraham Jackson over misunderstanding about the price of a body cream.
According to Journalist Aaron Geezy, the perpetrator told police investigators in the County that he sent $650 Liberian dollars by the deceased to buy a body rub cream for him which the deceased did, but said the jar of the cream did not worth the $650 Liberian dollars.
Geezy added that following heated argument between both men, the perpetrator Patrick King allegedly used an axe and inflicted severe wounds on Abraham Jackson, leading to his death.
He quotes residents of the surrounding as saying suspect Patrick had earlier promised to kill someone at the gold mine.
Aaaron Geezy said killing at various gold mines in River Cess County is gradually on the increase while drugs addiction remains alarmed.
Meanwhile, Patrick King is currently in police custody in Cestos City undergoing investigation.
