Former Vice President Joseph Boakai Launches Distribution of Assorted School Materials

Monrovia-Liberia’s former Vice President Joseph Boakai has launched the distribution of huge assorted school materials to be provided to less fortunate Liberian students in the country.

The items were subsequently turned over for distribution.

The huge assorted school materials include nine thousand pairs of school shoes as well as two sets of 250 feet containers of academic text books.

Speaking at the launch of the initiative Monday, September 4,2018, Former Vice President Boakai said the initiative is part of his JNB Foundation in identifying with Liberian kids as the new school year commences.

He however called on school authorities receiving the items to make good use of the academic text books.

Meanwhile, members of the implementing partners on the distribution of the materials which include the Young Men Christian Association and the Foundation of Women commended the former Vice President for the effort.

They however assured that the items will be given to those are in need.
