Liberia: Four Fear Dead in motor Vehicle Incident

Buchanan: At least four people are feared dead after a vehicle carrying twenty-one passengers somersaulted along the Buchanan-Monrovia high way.

According to reports, the incident occurred Sunday’s afternoon while the passengers were travelling from Grand Bassa County to witness the return of President George from the recently held United Nations General Assembly in America.

Several supporters of the CDC, who sustained injuries as a result of the incident, are reportedly seeking treatment at major Hospitals in Grand Bassa County, while others were transferred to Monrovia.

Eyewitnesses are quoted as saying the driver of the commercial bus carrying the passengers was over speeding, when one of the tyres  instantly jumped, resulting to the incident.

Some residents of the County, including surrounding Counties have begun visiting the Hospitals where the injured passengers were taken to identify their relatives, of family members.

Hundreds of Liberians were in high spirit on Sunday, September 30,2018 to welcome the return of President George Weah, who represented Liberia at the 73th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the United States of America.
