Monrovia-Police in Pleebo Sodoken District, Maryland County are investigating a thirty seven year old man for allegedly beating his wife to death.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Wednesday, following a tussle between suspect Napoleon Williams and his wife Theresa Williams over a bag of firewood which was to be sold by one of their children for the purpose of paying school fees.

But information also suggests that suspect Napoleon Williams had planned to give out the bag of firewood to his girlfriend, a reason for which he refused to sell the firewood.

The suspect and his wife have been living together for several years with five children.

A local journalist  in the County said family members of the deceased are demanding justice into the matter.

Johnny Nagbe added that Napoleon Williams is currently undergoing investigation at the Liberia National Police headquarters in Harper City.

He said Napoleon has been in the constant habit of beating on his Wife on several occassions.
