In a communication to the leadership of the House of Representatives, Sloh said he was resigning due to Speaker Chambers’ dictatorial and Autocratic leadership style.
Representative Sloh was chair of the House’s committee on information, Broadcasting, Cultural Affairs, and Tourism and Co-Chair on Human and civil Rights Co-Chair.
He was a member on the Peace, Religious and National Reconciliation; Member, Resettlement, Repatriation, Relief and Re-adjustment member; and Delegation to the African Caribbean pacific –European.
“I sent in my letter of resignation that I don’t wprk under a dictatorship. Since I was born, I have never worked under any dictator and this is a civilian Chambers who has turned the plenary into a military camp where only his will must prevail.
Maybe other committees will accept that, I will not accept it. The speaker will give a committee assignment and do the same work.
So, I decided that all the committee assignments he gave me, he should add them to his job as speaker so he can have more to do.
This was a decision that was decided by the late representative Adolph Lawrence, representative Yekeh Kolubah and myself.
Interestingly, Bhofal being as disrespectful as he has always being, he sent the letter back to me because he said I spelt his as Bhoffal when it suppose to be only one F, but he is on his own.
I have given copy of the letter to the media, including every member of the house of representative. I am not going to write any letter to Bhofal, trying to correct spelling of his name.
First of all, his name is not Bhofal Chambers, his real name is Jallah Lahimi. So, if he wants to fight the name war than lets fight it”
At the same, Montserrado County District 10 Representative has threatened to turn in his resignation from all committees being appointed to by the speaker doing Thursday’s sitting.
Meanwhile, OK FM has learned that Nagbe Sloh’s resignation letter resignation was rejected the office of Dr. Chambers, on grounds that the speaker’s named was incorrectly spelt.
When contacted, the Sinoe County Lawmaker confirmed misspelling Speaker Chambers’ name, but said he was not schooled to spell Bhofal.
