River Cess County Senator Francis Paye has revealed that 12-Thousand Five Hundred United States Dollars was withdrawn from River Cess County Development Fund to support Unity Party’s Standard Bearer Joseph Boakai campaign.

This disclosure runs contrary to allegation made earlier by the former Superintendent, Mathew Zogar Daniels that 18-Thousand United States Dollars was used for the former Vice President.

Senator Paye has meanwhile said he supports the commissioning of audits into River Cess County and Social Development Funds so as to unearth corrupt county officials.

These uncorroborated statements now make pundits to wonder on who’s saying the truth.

Meanwhile, Senator Paye has told members of his constituency that he would never form part of those he said find pleasure in the mismanagement of public funds.

Senator Paye appearing on a community radio in Cestos City at the weekend vowed to expose any wrongdoing by county officials.

The lawmaker said he will not endorse the appointment of citizens who are linked to acts of corruption, adding that he’s one person who opposed the appointment of Madam Ruth Sawmadal as Superintendent, now Assistant Internal Affairs Minister for Administration.
