MONDAY: The Liberia Football Association has placed Administrative fines on Invincible Eleven FC and Bea Mountain FC for two separate offences.
A release from the LFA says Invincible Eleven (IE) was fined due to the club’s failure to honor a league match Nimba Kwadoe Versus IEMSA that was scheduled for September 17, 2018 at the Saniquille Sports Stadium in Nimba County.
IE action was in violation of the LFA 2018 National League Rules and Regulations Chapter 10, article 13 and section 1.2.
Section 1.2a states that any club failing to honor a match without justifiable reason except in case of force majeure determined by the LFA shall forfeit the match and be fined as followed:
IE was therefore fined twenty five (25) thousand Liberian Dollars to be paid before their next league match.
At the same time, the LFA has also fined Bea Mountain twenty five (25) thousand Liberian Dollars.
According to the release, the referee report for the match Bea Mountain FC versus Mighty Barrolle played on October 1, 2018 at the Kinjor Sports Stadium in Grand cape Mount County established that while the match officials were leaving the pitch for the dressing room some supporters and fans of Bea Mountain attacked the officials by throwing sand and other objects at them. They were later rescued by the Liberia National Police.
The action exhibited by the supporters and fans of Bea Mountain is in violation of the 2018 National League Rules and Regulations; Chapter 20, article 24, section1.11.
Section 1.11 states that the LFA shall any club responsible for the misconduct of their members, fans, supporters, sympathizers and followers, etc.before, during and after a match.
The LFA release conlded that the administartive action is to keep the clubs in check and ensure that football ion the country is played in resoect of the laws of the game.
