Monrovia, Liberia –Liberian President Joseph Boakai has expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia to President Joe Biden, the Carter family, and the American people following the passing of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter at the age of 100.
In a statement released from the Executive Mansion, President Boakai praised President Carter’s unwavering commitment to advancing democracy, human rights, and humanitarian causes worldwide. Highlighting the profound impact of his post-presidential work through The Carter Center, President Boakai underscored Carter’s enduring contributions to Liberia’s peace and stability.
