Former Workers of National Road Fund protest for Alleged Wrongful Dismissal

Monrovia, Liberia – In opposition to their alleged unfair termination by the organization’s chief executive officer, Joseta Wento, a few former National Road Funds employees erected barricades at the institution’s entrance early on Tuesday morning, January2, 2024.

In order to prevent other vehicles from accessing the institution’s premises, a group of road fund workers parked their cars in front of the door.

They alleged that the head of the entity issued a communication to some worker, stating their dismissal on the grounds that the institution is transitioning to another project that can not maintain them.
