Newly appointed Civil Law Court ‘A’ Judge emphasizes need to conduct Investigative Survey into matters involving Real Property

Monrovia, Liberia – The newly appointed Judge at Civil Law Court ‘A’, Golda Bonah-Elliot has emphasized the need to conduct Investigative Survey into matters that involve Real Property.

Delivering her charge at the opening of the December term of court on Monday, Judge Bonah-Elliot said except parties prefer and agree to arbitration, the court would order an investigative survey in collaboration with the Liberia Land Authority within a given time frame issued by the court.

Judge Bonah-Elliot stated, regarding speedy trial of cases, the first assignment made in a case shall be part of a pre-trial conference or disposition of laws issues. She urged as the December term of court commences, they must reflect on the principles of fairness, equality, and the pursuit of the truth.
