Supreme Court mandates rerun in two Pleebo polling locations

Monrovia, Liberia – The Supreme Court has reversed the ruling of the NEC Board of Commissioners in the Bhofal Chambers Anthony Williams case in Maryland County.

A rerun of the ballots in two polling locations in District Number Two Pleebo Sodoken with strict security present has thus been mandated by the High Court.

Affirming its hearing officer’s dismissal of the appeal of House Speaker Bhofal Chambers, thereby ordering a re-run of two polling places in District #2 Maryland County under straight security present.

A rerun or recount is required when election violence is demonstrated, as it was in District Number 2 Maryland County, the Supreme Court stated in its decision.
