Gender Minister Rallies Women

HOLDS ACQUAINTANCE MEETING WITH WOMEN LEADERS

Monrovia, Liberia – A meeting of acquaintances with female leaders from various backgrounds was conducted by the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection.

The event served as a rallying cry for all female leaders and stakeholders to revive the spirit of unity in advancing the women’s agenda, according to gender minister Madam Gbeme Horace-Kollie.

Madam Horace-Kollie reaffirmed that the purpose of her employment at the Ministry of Gender is to advocate for women’s issues. In order to accomplish this goal, she will need the cooperation and dedication of women’s organizations and CSOs.

While praising the women for accepting her invitation, Minister Horace Kollie pledged to serve everyone. In addition, the Gender Minister declared that all women are welcome and that she is encouraging women with professional backgrounds and specialized abilities to work together to uplift other women.

The women congratulated the Gender Ministry and minister for offering such opportunity, they committed to continue pressing the cause of women’s rights across the nation.
