Monrovia, Liberia – As part of efforts to restore investors confidence, several Liberians has called on Boakai-Koung administration to audit both CDC and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf-led regimes.
The call for Boakai’s administration to audit the CDC government and, by extension, the government of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will set a precedent for governments to come; nothing, that will serve as Liberia’s readiness to tackle corruption.
They recommend that the audit be conducted, capturing every sector of the country, not based on perception or party line, but about the system.
Many Liberians, including individuals and corporate organisations, hold the government led by the CDC responsible for the hardships faced by the common people. Some residents bemoaned unemployment and mistreatment at work, while others wept because they were living below the minimum wage.
