Quiwo Pepsi Yeke Declared wanted by EPS for Unlawfully Possessing EPS firearm

YEKE CHARACTERSIZES EPS ACTION AS A RISK TO HIS LIFE

Monrovia, Liberia -Quiwo Pepsi Yeke has been listed wanted by the Executive Protection Service (EPS). Under George Weah, Mr. Yeke was the Executive Director of the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).

Former LACE leader Quiwo Yeke was placed on the wanted list on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, for allegedly having an EPS weapon that satisfies the following criteria and was obtained illegally: According to new EPS Director Sam Gaye, the weapon type is the Norinco 22 Pistol; serial number is 97344, making 73.

The Executive Protection Service (EPS) therefore urged any law enforcement officer who comes in contact with Pepsi Yeke to have him immediately detained and contact the Executive Protection Service (EPS).

In response, Mr. Yeke acknowledged that he was in possession of the gun but clarified that the new EPS leader had not called to request a turnover. He continued that his life is in danger as a result of the new EPS chief’s remarks on the weapon.

Mr. Yeke agreed to turn over the aforementioned weapon in person during an interview with this publication.
