President Boakai Extols Ghana on 67th Independence Day Observance

Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana on the occasion marking the 67th Independence anniversary of that country.

In a release from the Foreign Ministry, President Boakai sent his felicitations to the government and people of the Republic of Ghana on their anniversary, both personally and on behalf of the government and people of Liberia.

As the people of Ghana celebrate this momentous occasion, the president of Liberia expressed his hope that the friendly relations of friendship and collaboration that now exist between the two nations and peoples will be further reinforced in the spirit of African unity.

“I look forward to continue collaboration, as we work together in furtherance of the principles of the African Union, the United Nations, and the Economic Community of West African States for the promotion of regional and international peace and security.”
