Monrovia, Liberia – President Boakai’s latter days ally Senator Prince Johnson accuses him of rejecting Vice President Jeremiah Koung’s recommendations in the early stage of the administration.
Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson says Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Sylvester Grisbsy is undermining smooth decision-making at the presidency.
Disagreement has been ensured with the appointments made by President Joseph Boakai, with many saying the Liberian leader is failing to appoint local Liberians who have long struggled with the UP.
He acknowledged that, though it is too early to predict, the six-year journey has started on a rocky, rough road of grief, and he reiterated calls for Liberians to manage their expectations.
The Nimba County Senator also said the President has allegedly ignored all recommendations from his vice president Jeremiah Koung because of Mr. Gribsy’s association. He made the comments on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his Christ Chapel of Faith Church in Paynesville.
